Before Your Wedding
Whilst you are looking for photographers, you will find many of us “out there”, all offering a variety of different options. We would like you to feel comfortable to come and visit us without any obligation, look at our work leisurely and discuss what you would like, before you make any firm decisions. You are then absolutely free to go away, look at others’ work and meet with them. We would prefer you to feel that you have made the right decision.

Once you have decided you would like us to photograph your special day, we will meet with you to take down the necessities, discuss any ideas you have and the mix of traditional and reportage that you would like.

We also offer you a free pre-wedding shoot where we go out somewhere for a while and photograph you, so that you can get used to us (and we can get to know you a little better too). That way on your wedding day, you can feel more comfortable in front of the camera.

From this shoot, we will also give you a free mounted 8X10 inch print of your choice.

Your Day with Us
On the morning of your wedding, depending upon your package, we will normally begin by photographing the bride, approximately 2 hours before your service. We will capture those nervous moments, tears in the eyes, trying to work out what way up and on which side the corsages and buttonholes go, and the all important puzzle of how on earth you put the veil on!! (...whilst being on hand to help out if required!)

We will be unobtrusive, blending into the background until you are ready for any posed photographs.

We then move on to see the groom and his men, taking some natural, some posed pictures and are then ready for the arrival of the bride.

During the service, we take photographs without flash, (unless your vicar / registrar does not allow us to), capturing your vows, ring exchanges and first kiss as man and wife! We normally do a posed photograph of the signing of the register.

Once the formal ceremony is complete, we take some posed group photographs – these can be as formal or as informal as you like and can be at the ceremony venue or at the reception venue.

We will then take you away from the crowds to create some special, romantic and intimate pictures of the two of you. These are very valuable moments where you get to spend some quality time together, which after the nervousness and bustle of all the preparations can be very appreciated!

These are normally done within one of your venue settings, or if you prefer, a place that you would particularly like to go, providing it’s within just a few miles.

At some point after the ceremony, we set up the confetti photograph, (venue regulations allowing). We also photograph a mock cutting of the cake and will then leave you to enjoy the rest of your day, unless you wish to arrange for us to stay to photograph speeches and “live” cake-cutting.
